Motorola Bionic Wired Headset
We're
all pretty familiar with the standard Motorola Bionic wired headset, they
look like a round button attached to a string and supposedly make it possible to
be on a call leaving your hands free to do the typing, sorting or calculating
that our jobs demand. Headsets, however, have come a long way since their
appearance in the mobile market. The many of the newest offerings from this
under-appreciated accessory can be seen from the latest available Motorola
Bionic wired headset. Today's headsets offer much more than those from
devices of the past. For example, newer units now offer in-ear, noise-isolation
gel inserts that fit snuggly in your ear, making it comfortable to stay on the
phone for longer periods of time. The biggest difference is that most headsets
are now stereo, as opposed, to mono. This means that it'll have two wires, one
for each ear, rather than one. This transition was made possible by phones like
the Motorola Bionic, which is geared much more for movies, videos, mp3s and
other multimedia data than previous phones. Users are not content with just
being able to make calls, we now want to do much more and be entertained in
between mobile computing sessions. Whereas phones of days past had proprietary
connectors that were specific to the carrier or to the phone, most newer phones
and nearly all smartphones now use the standard 3.5mm jack for sound output. The
colors, styles and designs are numerable in terms of selecting the perfect
Motorola Bionic wired headset. There a few things to consider when choosing
a headset. First, ensure that the lengths of the cord is long enough that it'll
be comfortable. Since most headsets and cables are only 3 feet, the standard
length for these things, if you want something a bit longer, you'll have to look
a bit harder. Second, higher priced headsets will offer more options, like
differently sized ear inserts or noise-isolation, determine if these are
important to you before shelling out the higher cost for these added benefits.
And finally, certain functions are phone-dependent, so if the headset offers a
button for fast forward, rewind, pause, and switch call, then make sure the
phone supports these features. Also, certain
Motorola Bionic accessories
like cases and covers, may restrict access to the 3.5mm port, so you may need to
consider this when purchasing a headset. |
